Palau's 2009 Events

As nature’s number one playground, Palau is brimming with a plethora of diversions and things to do. However, for those who are interested in planning their Micronesian getaway with timely events and locally-inspired traditions, Palau announces two options for consideration, namely Etpison Cup Fishing Derby, Olechotel Belau (cultural) Fair and 5th Annual Bartender Competition.

Scheduled from October 23-25, the Olechotel Belau Fair (Belau Cultural Fair) coincides with Palau's constitutional day and features two days of cultural displays from Palau's sixteen states as well as dance performances, handicrafts, delicacies, music contest and other cultural activities.
